How long can I burn the candle for?
First burn is the most important burn. Allow the candle wax to have a full melting pool before extinguishing. Typically a minimum of one hour.
DO NOT burn a candle for more than 4 hours. We do not recommend burning more that 4 hours because the vessel could heat up and become a hazard. We also do not recommend burning a candle more than 4 hours because the wick will need to be trimmed and can start giving off soot.
Why do I have to trim the wick?
~Trimming the wick will help with the health of your candle. When first lighting your new candle it is important to trim the wick by 1/4'. When the wick is too long (first burn or all burns) it causes an imbalance between the amount of wax melting and the flame's ability to burn it completely, resulting in soot. (black smoke)
Why doesn't my candle smell up the whole house?
~Depending on the size of the candle will determine how much scent (hot throw) is given. If you have a medium candle, 12oz with 1 wick, it will work better in a smaller room vs. a candle that is 18-24oz having 2-3 wicks given off a much stronger hot throw.
